This Program is designed to give all children and youth equal opportunity to succeed in his/her education journey.
Making a difference
Our library and homework club plays an important role in the success of many students in the community. We give them access to various books and resources, fostering a love of learning, promoting critical thinking, enabling in-depth research, offering a quiet study space, and volunteers who can tutor and mentor them along their educational journey.
About the Program
We are so grateful to our local volunteers that make our Library and Homework club a success. Each week we have approximately 20-25 students that participate in this program. We have witness students’ love and overall pride in their studies increase. Another benefit from this program is the Junior Readers volunteers. They are older students who give of their time and skills to read to younger children - it has manifestoed in such an increase their confidence and reading ability.
